He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Debbie Ruskin (Mike) of Atlanta, Dave DiPonzio (Kimberly) of Macon and Danny DiPonzio of Oakwood; his grandchildren, Fran Sponsler (Mark), Amy Rahman (Nick), Rachael Robideaux (Dylan), Nicholas DiPonzio, Jessica DiPonzio and Lora Kate DiPonzio; and his great grandchildren, Abigail Sponsler and Andrew Sponsler.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Pine Pointe Hospice, 6261 Peake Road, Macon, GA 31210.
