He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert M. Avery and Katie Mae Peavy Avery; and his brother Bobby Manning Avery. He is survived by: his daughter Angelene A. Brown of Macon; his grandson Matthew Hunter Brown of Macon; his great grandchild Hudson Ross Brown of Cumming, Georgia; his brother Richard Hulie Avery (Shirley) of Macon; and his nephew Clifford M. Avery (Jennifer) of Byron, Georgia.
