He was predeceased by: his sister Carol Mann. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Jones of Jones County; his daughters, April Vickers of Gray, Jennifer Tanner (Louis) of Gray and Tammy Jacobs (Jamie) of Orlando, Florida; his grandchildren, Cole Vickers, Thomas Vickers, Katie Tanner, Kelly Tanner, Owen Jacobs and Jonah Jacobs; his mother Obie Jones of Byron, Georgia; and his siblings, Peggy Rigby, Wanda Nicholson and Michael Jones. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
