She was predeceased by: her sons, Larry Powell and Don Powell; her grandson Jason Powell; her son-in-law Charles Brinson; her parents, Grady Partin and Sally NeeSmith Partin; and her siblings, Fred, Lester, Earnest, Herbert, Earl Partin, Eula (Payne Denmark), Inez (Dick Morris) and Viola (Edwin Fiveash).
She is survived by: her daughter Alicia Brinson of Johnson Corner; her daughter-in-law Lynette Powell of Lyons; her grandchildren, Bruce Powell of Johnson Corner, Kelvin Powell (Zelda) of Johnson Corner, Leigh Bradford of Johnson Corner, Trey Grimm of Waynesboro, Teresa Morrison (Robert) of Lyons and Les Grimm (Robin) of Baxley; her sister Ruby Nell Morris of Glenwood; her sister-in-law Meredith Partin of Johnson Corner; her close friends, Randy, Dot Grimm and Betty Poole; and also, A. L. "Tot" Powell and Wilbur J. Fiveash. She is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren.
