She was predeceased by: her parents, Jimmy Stroup and Sally Darcy Stroup; and her husband Daniel Simmons. She is survived by: her children, Christina DiDiego of Macon, Brandy Simmons of Macon, Timothy Simmons of Macon and Dannielle Harper (Timothy) of Macon; her siblings, Tony Stroup (Vivan) of Macon, Jeffery Stroup (Crystal) of Macon and Susan Ciraola (Peter) of Macon; and her grandchildren, Luke, Leah DiDiego and Mary Harper. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family has requested, in lieu of flowers, that friends make memorial donations to assist with expenses.
