He was predeceased by: his parent William Thomas. He is survived by: his parent Dorothy O'Neal DeWitt; his wife Ann Swann DeWitt of Macon; his children, William Thomas DeWitt, II (Susanna) of Macon, Taylor Leigh DeWitt of Macon and Anna Hope DeWitt; his granddaughter Bailey Grace DeWitt; and his brother Mark DeWitt (Sissy) of Waycross, Georgia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
