We are sad to announce that on August 10, 2025, at the age of 77, Iris Hill of Macon, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tiny Hill and Felton Hill; her brother Larry Hill; and her brother-in-law Lamar Bowen. She is survived by: her wife Judith Lee "Judy" Whitaker of Macon; her daughter Leah Corrissa Watson (Don) of Byron, Georgia; her grandchildren, Jaxen Dean Watson and Maddox Paul Watson; her sister Cherry Carden (David) of Macon; her sibling's children, Jessica Carden Betzel (Rob), Chad Carden (Christy), Starr Hill Peek and Rusty Hill; and her siblings-in-law, Sandra Bowen of Cordele, Georgia, Robin Mercer (Bill) of Cordele, Georgia and Travis Whitaker (Melody) of Cordele, Georgia..
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Hart's Mortuary (6324 Peake Rd, Macon, GA 31210). Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at 5080 Riverside Dr, Macon, GA 31210.
