Chambliss; his children, Ava Chambliss-Richardson, Cynthia Whitfield (Randy), James Chambliss, III, Gwendolyn Goodman (Henry) and Natalie Chambliss-Beach; and his siblings, Betty Hill, Roosevelt Chambliss, Eugene Chambliss (Betty) and Harry T. Chambliss (Carolyn). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild, a host of nieces, nephews, and relatives.
