He is survived by: his wife Jean Myrick Fountain; his son Jay Fountain (Beth) of Lilburn, Georgia; his grandsons, Charlie Fountain of Birmingham, Alabama and Josh Fountain of St. Petersburg, Florida; and his nephew Phillip Alan Fountain, Jr..
