He was predeceased by: his father Reverend Frank Floyd Strickland. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Simon Strickland of Macon; his children, Stephanie Strickland Koehler (Stephen) of Macon and Jason Jarrell Strickland (Melissa) of Warner Robins, Georgia; his grandchildren, Samantha, Ashley, Madelyn, Anna Grace, Zachary, Lane, Payton, Ethan, Emma and Reid; his mother Julia Kaminer Strickland of Fayetteville, Georgia; and his siblings, Rocky Strickland (Melba) of Yatesville, Jeff Strickland (Debra) of Fayetteville, Georgia and Ellen Guthrie of Fayetteville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
