He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Regina S. McDonald Martin and Jake McDonald; his stepfather Wade Martin; his wife Jean Lee McDonald of Ft; his daughter Rachel Gumina (Vincent) of Macon; his brother Tommy McDonald (Dale) of Macon; and his half-brothers, Charles and Willard McDonald.
Was quoted regularly, "I'm not mainstream." In leiu of flowers the family suggests blood donations to the American Red Cross, Perry Presbyterian Church, or Fort Valley First Baptist.
