She was predeceased by: her son John Norris; her parents, James Stroup and Nellie Stroup; her stepmother Ava Parker Stroup; and her siblings, J. D. Stroup, Maureen Thomas, Margaret Tingley, Martha Thomas, Emory Stroup and Harold Stroup.
She is survived by: her children, James Norris (Dawn) and Martha McAleese (Scott); her grandchildren, Alan Norris, Amanda Norris and Warren Walker; and her sister Carolyn Stroup Rhodes. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
