She was predeceased by: her parents, William E. Sprague, Jr. and Miriam Eardley Sprague; and her siblings, Thomas Sprague, Charles Sprague, Alan Sprague, Ruth Ann Johns and Deborah Kitchens.
She is survived by: her son Jaymes Darnell; and her siblings, Rebecca Johnson and William Sprague. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Mrs. Darnell's memory to the hospice of the donor's choice.
