She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Reeves Mangum and Lillian Gertrude Mangum; her husband Ralph N. Dowlen; her brothers, Elmer Reeves Mangum, Jr., George Mangum, Royce Mangum and Donald Leroy Mangum; and her son-in-law Mel Petty.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Mosley (Wesley) of Macon, Gail Petty of Macon, Nicky Dowlen (Paulette) of Columbia and Bryan Dowlen (Susan) of Macon; her grandchildren, Kevin Mosley (Leslie), Melissa Thomaston (Scott), Alexis Dowlen, Meghan Dowlen, Autumn Dowlen and Eric Petty (Michelle); and her great grandchildren, Lillie Mosely, Hailey Thomaston, Hayley and McKenzie Petty.
