We are sad to announce that on April 4, 2018, at the age of 88, Loretta Proctor Mears (Macon, Georgia), born in Twin City, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Maurice L. Mears, Sr.; her stepson Robert E. "Bob" Mears, Sr.; and her siblings, Leona Andrews, Naomi Linder, Ruby Oglesby, Audrey Barnwell, Betty Spell and Marlow Proctor.
She is survived by: her children, James Bartholomew, Barbara Davis (Billy), Mary Beth Hyder (Joe), Brian E. Mears, Sr. (Cindy), Brenda Brown (Mark) and Kiyoko Mears (Bob); and her brother James Proctor Sr.. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donation be made in her memory to Pine Pointe Hospice, 6261 Peake Road, Macon, GA 31210.
