She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Steven Boykin and Ruby Etna Suggs Boykin; her husbands, Barney Flanders and Hugh D. Couch Sr.; and her siblings, Mary Alice Davis, Wilma Boykin, Julian, Bill, Gerald, Marshall and Vinson Boykin.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Flanders Scott (Jack), Phyllis Flanders Robertson (William) of Macon, Jeffery, Lamar Flanders of Macon and Frank Flanders of Byron; her siblings, Wayne Boykin (Cindy) of Adel, Nell Leveille of Hahira and Myrtice; and her close friend Annie Butts Evans.
