She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Cecil Mullis, Sr. and Leone Joiner Mullis; her husband Sammy Adams; and her siblings, Lonnie Mullis, Jr., A. Gene Mullis and Joan Yancey.

She is survived by: her nieces, Lynn Anderson of Powell and Debra Throckmorton (Scott) of Denver, Colorado; and her nephew Ken Mullis (Janie) of Auburn, Georgia.
