With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margie McKinley Jones of Macon, Georgia, who passed away on September 28, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alva McKinley and Aileen McKinley of Harlem, Georgia; her mother-in-law Elizabeth T. Jones of Macon, Georgia; her brother-in-law Frank Jones of Macon; and her son-in-law Charles Grimes of Watkinsville.
She is survived by: her husband Edward S. Jones; her children, Patricia Grimes Collier (Joe) of Greensboro, GA, Sherry Sawyer (Dan) of Bishop, Georgia, Mack Jones (Anna) and Frank Jones (Jane) of Macon, GA; her sister Alice Ann Mullins of Macon; and her friend Margie. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
