He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Harper Liles, Sr. and Mary Frierson Liles; and his sister June Merriman Liles. He is survived by: his wife Catharine Burns Liles; his daughters, Mary Parker Liles (Mark Yates) of Washington, Rebecca Grist (Joel) of Macon and Catharine Watkins (Nat) of Macon; his grandchildren, Hali McClain Johnson, Jeremiah Johnson, Mary Blain Grist, Jack Grist and Mary Cate Sample; and his siblings-in-law, Hazel Struby (Neil) of Gray, Georgia and Derry Burns (Juliette) of Macon, Georgia..
