She was predeceased by: her husband William M. "Billy" Reed; her parents, Ewell Frank Powe and Mary Cecil Burgess Powe; and her siblings, James Dewitt Powe, Ewell Floyd Powe, Cecil Oswell Powe and Mary Powe Wilson.
She is survived by: her daughter Rhonda Reed Gilpin; her son-in-law Mark V. Gilpin; and her sister Rachel Powe Rowan. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the American Heart Association.
