He was predeceased by: his wife Hulette Thames Minchew; his parents, Jewel and Milton Persons Minchew, Sr.; his son Milton Persons Minchew III; and his sisters, Frances Davidson and Annelle Elliott.
He is survived by: his children, Alecia Cross (Allen) of Warner Robins, Calvin Minchew (Brenda) of Macon and Nancy Foster (Jimmy) of Macon; and his grandchildren, Raymond, Michael, Len, Gene Cross, Sherman, Wesley, Phillip Minchew, Kesha Bigler and Ashley Foster.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial donations be given in memory of Milton to the Avondale Baptist Church Cemetery Maintenance Fund, 6970 Cochran Field Rd., Macon, GA 31216.
