We are sad to announce that on February 14, 2021, at the age of 79, Minister Willie Lawson of Macon, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Lawson; his son James Eric Lawson (Angela); his grandsons, Nicholas and Tyler Lawson; his siblings, Charlie Lawson Sr. (Edna Ruth), Odessa Sheffield, Susie Henry, Viola Adams, Mae Dorothy Jordan (Pastor Franklin Sr.), Mary Helen Bizzell and Virgie Talley; his siblings-in-law, Beatrice Lawson, Rosa Lawson, Hattie Parrish, Pastor Cecil Parrish and Theodore Ray Cannie; his godchildren, Rex Green and Janay Erving; and also Arthur Hubbard. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends.
The family is requesting everyone to wear a face mask and follow CDC guidelines.
