She is survived by: her children, Dr. Tina Powell and Dr. Doug Powell; her granddaughters, Rebecca Powell and Rachel Powell-Toniyot; her nieces, Angela Vickers and Vickie Nelson; and her nephew Chris Vickers.

Donations in Nadine's memory can be made to St. Simons Island First Baptist Church.
