She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Grady and Magdalene Grady; her daughter Melanie C. Gonterman; and also Melvin Christensen. She is survived by: her daughters, Melinda Avant (Ronnie) of Kathleen and Melissa Wacter (Alan) of Macon; her son-in-law Rick Gonterman of Macon; her grandchildren, Margo Etheridge (Steven), Geoffrey Walker, Wendy Walker and Meredith Wacter; and her great grandchild Megan Etheridge.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Presentation Academy Annual Fund, 861 South 4th Street, Louisville, KY 40203.
