He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Layfield and Peggy Layfield. He is survived by: his son Blake Anthony Layfield (Jenna Brantley) of Gray; and his sisters, Connie Eden of Warner Robins and Cathy Smith (Ed) of Monroe, Georgia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
