She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Edward Williams, Sr. and Maydell Theresa Crawford Williams. She is survived by: her husband Mickey Carroll of Macon, Georgia; her daughter Shelly Whitaker (Cody) of Lizella, Georgia; her grandchildren, Olivia Brown, Clara Grace Christian, Hope Christian and Coraline Whitaker; her great grandchild Alec Ray; and her brothers, Joe E. Williams, Jr. (Becky) and Danny Williams (Ginger) of Macon. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Rachel's memory to Parkway Assembly of God, 5191 Eisenhower Parkway, Macon, Georgia 31206.
