He is survived by: his children, Becky Carlisle, Destin Carlisle, Kaitlyn Carlisle, Dakotah Carlisle and Brandon Carlisle (Ashley); his grandchild Xander Carlisle; his sisters, Diane Hattaway (Michael), Caron Williams (Jon) and Alison Hutchens (Jeff); his significant other Carla Stewart; and his friend Bekah Baker. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many adopted children.
