He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton Eugene Riley and Elizabeth Adams Riley; and his siblings-in-law, Billy Mixon, Pete Carter, Beth Eckman and Anne Riley.
He is survived by: his wife Paige Claxton Riley; his sons, Jeff Riley (Catherine), Johns Creek and Jeremy (Kristi); his siblings, Shirley Mixon and Paul Riley; his sisters-in-law, Jane Carter and Linda Claxton; his aunts, Janie Torrance and Ann Amos; and his close friend Nellie. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
