With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Robider Markwalter (Macon, Georgia), who passed away on February 14, 2020 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Edward and Theresa Robider Markwalter; and his brother John Raphael Markwalter (Ellen). He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Calvert Markwalter; his daughters, Allison Markwalter King (Scott) of Savannah and Blythe Markwalter Koplin (Henry) of Macon; his brothers, George Edward Markwalter, Jr. (Lucy) of Macon and Richard Eugene Markwalter (Maria) of Satellite Beach, FL.; his grandchildren, Robert Thacker King, Edward Brennen Hamilton, Margaret Elizabeth Hamilton, Adam Robider King, Katherine Alexandra Hamilton and Thomas Branton King; and his siblings-in-law, Jean Calvert Britt (Grady), Mary Lynn Calvert Harwell (Ray), Vaughn Calvert (Donna) and David Calvert (Rana). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and grand- nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Diocese of Savannah Annual Catholic Appeal or charity of choice.
