She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Richard Hanson and Mabel Laura Daughtry Hanson; her husband Paul Johnson; her son Larry Johnson; and her siblings, Lemuel Hanson, Frank Hanson, William "Bill" Hanson, Robert Hanson, Princess Davis, Marie Chafin, Annie Lou Grimsley, Corine Johnston, Ethel Amerson and Sylvia Rae.
She is survived by: her sons, Bobby Johnson (Nancy) of Melbourne and Richard Johnson (Linda) of Macon, Georgia; and her grandchildren, Dave Forman (Leisa), Kate Mackie (Jonathan), Todd Johnson and Richard Riley. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and her faithful companion.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital.
