We are sad to announce that on August 13, 2020, at the age of 91, Ruebush Mitchell of Macon, Georgia, born in Toccoa, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruebush James Mitchell and Margaret West Mitchell; his siblings, Jane Huckaby of Valdosta, Margaret and William E. "Mitch" Mitchell (Jan); and his granddaughter Emily Hatcher.
He is survived by: his wife Elouise B. Mitchell (Sigma Phi Epsilon); his children, R. Jim Mitchell III (Laurie), Susan Patterson, Margaret Rogers (Al) and Charles Mitchell (Anne); his granddaughters, Mallary Hatcher and Caroline Mitchell Henson; and his great grandchildren, Malea Rogers, Sophia Rogers, John Henson and Margaret Henson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Highland Hills Baptist Church or charity of choice.
