She is survived by: her parent Stella Carter Alligood; her husband Major Robert Melton; her daughters, Sarah Olson (Jeff) of Moorhead, MN and Lisa Hart (Carol) of Winterville; and her granddaughters, Lily Olson and Emmie Olson. She is also survived by two daughters and a beloved grandmother.
