She was predeceased by: her husband Carlton H. Slocum; her parents, Willard Hobbs and Anna Hobbs; and her sister Alice Gilleran. She is survived by: her daughters, Denise Fortenberry (Bill) and Diane Ryan (Pat); her brother Fred Hobbs (Sandra); her grandsons, Billy Fortenberry (Brittany) and Brett Fortenberry; and her great grandchildren, James, David, Charlie Fortenberry and Sandy.
