She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Herman Waters and Marjorie Waters; her former spouse Jerry Thompson; her husband Bill Preston; her brother Herman Waters of Lizella, GA; her children, Wendell Thompson of Pensacola, FL, Treena Hutcheson (Kendall) of Roberta and Joel Thompson of Byron; and her grandchildren, Katelyn Thompson Boyd, Breanna Thompson Gaines, Zachary Thompson, Arianna Hutcheson, Leah Hutcheson, Chelsea Thompson and Lacie Thompson. She was also cherished by cousins, nieces and nephews.
