With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Tony Ashley (Macon, Georgia), who passed away on August 30, 2021 at the age of 80. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Tony Ashley to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus C. Ashley and Ezma H. Ashley; his wife Ione Chambers Ashley; his son Robbie Ashley; and his siblings, Sammie Echols, Qutene Leonard and Troy Ashley.

He is survived by: his children, Sherrie Treen (Allan), Kim Elder (Pat), Amanda Ashley and Jason Ashley; his stepchildren, Laura McLeod (Pat), Jimmy Cofer (Manina), Larry Cofer (Bambi Yeomans) and Mark Cofer; his grandchildren, Brittainy Horne (Brad), Tony Elder (Stephanie), Lee Purvis, Adam Elder (Logan), Taylor Belk (Justin), Heartly Purvis, Tucker Treen, Seth Elder (Noel), Emily Elder and Callie Grace Mayo; his stepgrandchildren, Jessica McLeod, Morgan Fike (Jeff), Sam McLeod, Tia Cofer, Tiffany Holmes (Scott), Tracy Benefield (James), James Cofer, Andrew Cofer and Audrey Cofer; and his siblings, Jerry Ashley (Patricia), Hank Ashley (Janet) and Gail Walker (Johnny). He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, 20 step-greatgrandchildren.

Due to Covid concerns, there will not be a visitation.

The family is honored by all expressions of sympathy but do suggest memorial donations be made to the Salvation Army.
