She was predeceased by : her parents, William Burrell Phillips Sr. and Carrie T Phillips of Rock Hill, SC; and her brothers, William Phillips Jr. (Betty Phillips) of Rock Hill, SC and James Phillips (Jim) of Winston-Salem, NC.. She is survived by : her husband Paul R Mendenhall Jr.; her children, Paul Robinson Mendenhall III (Robbie) of Marietta, GA, Julie Kay McLemore of Dallas, Cassandra Scott (Cassie) and Debra M Brooks; her son-in-law Eddie McLemore; and her sister-in-law Joan Phillips of Winston-Salem, NC. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and their spouses; and 15 great grandchildren, Many nieces and nephews and their spouses, children and grandchildren; and many dear friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home (2000 Cobb Pkwy, Marietta, GA 30060). A graveside service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery (2000 Cobb Pkwy, Marietta, GA 30060).
