Joyce Meers Obituary
With solemn reverence, we commemorate Joyce Meers of Marietta, Georgia, whose life came to an end on October 17, 2025 at the age of 82, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Joyce may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Joyce touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her children, Rita Boyd, Beverly Shaffer, Craig Meers, Barbara Sword (Mark) and Jason Meers; and her sisters, Patricia Gravitt (James) and Mitzi Williams (Thomas). She is also survived by five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Light House Baptist Church (205 Pace Rd, Hiram, GA 30141). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
The family has requested that in Lieu of flowers donations be made in Mrs. Meers' honor to the Lighthouse Baptist Church in Hiram 205 Pace Road Hiram, GA 30141.
