She was predeceased by : her parents, Carroll Hawkins and Betty Worley Hawkins; her brother Sonny; and her caregivers, Dr. John Leonardy, Dr. Mary Dailey-Smith, Dr. Peter d'Aubermont of Daniel Roberson, P. A., Dr. Dinesh Bhatia, Dr. Vineet Dua, Dr. Amy Kim, Shirlene Davis Little, Sandra Wiggins and Elizabeth Yarde.
She is survived by : her sister Janice; her children, Debbie Day of Marietta, Dianne Day Lanier (Dave) of St. Simons Island and Michael Lewis Day of Kennesaw; her close friend Janice VanMeter of Columbus; and her sister-in-law Betty Hawkins of Alpharetta. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
