He is survived by: his wife Laurie Silk; his children, Randall Silk (Summer) and Stephanie Silk (Lonnie Bostic); his grandchildren, Reagan, Ellah Silk, Violet and Desmond Bostic; his sisters, Margaret Hartman (James), Karen Silk (Joel Sterkin) and Elizabeth Silk; his niece Angela Hartman; and his nephew Isaac Milne.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to either the MDS Foundation or the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation.
