He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. James Garfield Smith, Sr. and Emma Irene Smith. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Smith; his children, Travis F. Smith, Jr., Darlene Hanson (Jim), Richard F. Smith and George R. Smith (Bobbie); his stepsons, Kerry Richardson (Karen) and Randy Richardson; his grandchildren, Ashley Galloway (Tad), Jarod Smith (Amber), Austin Crews (Penelope), Paul Smith, Arin Burke, Rachel Smith, Victoria Schultz (Shane), Jacob Smith (Genevieve), Joshua Smith, Anthony Erion and Kenneth Richardson; and his brother James Garfield Smith, Jr.. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Travis Smith's memory to Open Bible Tabernacle Church.
