He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter Hamby and Garland Evans Hamby; and his sister Peggy Hamby. He is survived by : his son Charlie; his daughter-in-law Jennifer Hamby; his brother Don; his sister-in-law Janice Hamby; his niece Terri Hamby; his nephew Timothy Brandom; and his grandchildren, Carter Hamby, Carrie McKenzie and Nicholas Sobrilsky.

In lieu of flowers, the Hamby family asks that a donation to Mr. Hamby's favorite organizations be made.
