He was predeceased by : his parents, Fred Reeves and Maude Reeves (Lee); and his brother Doug Reeves. He is survived by : his wife Brenda Reeves; his children, Michael Standridge and Jamie Sammons; and his grandchildren, Alex Standridge of Maysville, Draven Sammons of Maysville and Amelia Sammons. He is also survived by several brothers and sisters; nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hillside Chapel Funeral Home and Cremation Services (1190 McEver Rd, Gainesville, GA 30504). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Hillside Chapel Funeral Home and Cremation Services (1190 McEver Rd, Gainesville, GA 30504).
