He was predeceased by : his parents, Sharp Lewis and Stella Wilbanks Lewis. He is survived by : his wife Martha Boswell Lewis; his granddaughter Kinlee Lewis; his siblings, Jack, Regis, Telvia, Robert, Mary Lou Lewis Glore and Henrietta Lewis Dorsey; his children, Nicole Lewis Murphy and Josh Lewis (Jenna) of Homer; his sister Louise Jordan (Penny) of Flowery Branch; his grandchildren, Gavin Brown, Chloe Poole, Reese, Ryleigh Murphy, Brycen Murphy, Beckham and Graham Lewis; and his close friend Jurelle Cobb.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ivie Funeral Home (1053 S Elm St, Commerce, GA 30529). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Nicholson Baptist Church (71 Church St, Nicholson, GA 30565).
