He was predeceased by : his parents, L. B. Ward and MaeBelle Morris Ward; and his brothers, William Ward and Louis Ward. He is survived by : his close friend Debbie Hollis; his sons, Benji Ward (Amy) and Troy Ward; and his sisters, Francis Skelton, Jimmie Lou Brown, Shriley James, Brenda Allison, Ann Echols, Peggy Jo Boisclair, Vickey English and Judy Baird. He is also survived by 8 grandsons.
