She was predeceased by : her parents, Thomas Jewel and Annie Lou Cox Frederick; her daughter Benita Smith; and her brothers, Jerry Frederick and Fred Frederick.

She is survived by : her husband William Chandler; her children, Boyd Chandler (Marie), Greg Chandler (Lisa) and Darlene McConnell (Lewis); her brother Thomas Frederick (Carolyn); and her grandchildren, Christopher J. Welch, Kylee Carroll, Ryan McConnell and Dr. Brittany Lord (Austin).
