She was predeceased by : her parents, John Grindle and Mary Jenkins Grindle; her husband Horace "Pee Wee" Nalley; her daughter Shelia Lackey; and her siblings, Roy Grindle, Leonard Grindle, Geneva Howard, Dorothy Nalley, Betty Gunn, Barbara Grindle and Mae Redmon.

She is survived by : her brother Randal Grindle; her daughters, Nancy Greenway (David) and Teressa Turpin (John); her granddaughter Lori Tatum; and her great grandchildren, Tori Tatum, Dalton Tatum and Addison Tatum.
