He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Pierson and Mamie Magdeline Sparks Arp; and his son Robert Joe Arp. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Queen Arp; his sons, Rodney (Starr Arp), Terry (Julie Arp), Doug Arp (Duane Thomas) and Kent (Pam Arp); his grandchildren, Charissa (Michael Rice), Nathan (Bethany Arp), Abby (Steve Lanni), Brandon Arp, Christina Arp, Kerri (Ryan Denham) and Jason Arp (Kaitlin Arp); his great grandchildren, Zachary Rice, Faith Rice, Isaac Rice, Hudson Arp, Sawyer Arp, Grayer Arp, Hattie Arp and Ford Arp; his sister Katherine Armstrong of Quitman, TX; and his sisters-in-law, Kathleen Arp and Dorothy Arp. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
