It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvin Robert Hobby of McDonough, Georgia, who passed away on February 22, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Hobby and Rene Hobby; his daughter Brenda Strickland; and his wife Elizabeth Hobby. He is survived by: his children, Patricia Clotfelter of McDonough, GA, Robert Hobby (Marilee) of Jackson, GA, Roger Burdette (Terri) of McDonough, GA, Wayne Burdette (Nancy) of Greensboro, GA and June Sette of Stockbridge, GA.; and his sister Betty Hall of Newnan, GA. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
