He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Samuel Lee Johnson and Mary Ross Gardner; his wife Earlie Bouie Reed; his daughters, Rashan Reed and Shanice Reed (Miami); his stepchildren, Jerry Bouie, Duke Bouie, Ulysses Bouie, Clynell Bouie, June Rogers (Willie), Deborah Bouie, Gail Coote, Earlene Crump (Thomas) and Duvean Lewis (Earl); and his siblings, Leslie F. Gardner, Timothy C. Gardner, Willie Lee Ross, Sharon Gardner and Bobby Reed. He was also cherished by loving nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, and friends.
