She was predeceased by: her parents, James Wesley Jackson, Sr. and Rudeen Mulkey Jackson; her husband Charles Bodiford; and her siblings, Lavelle "Sonny" Jackson, James "Jimmy" Jackson, Jr. and Katherine Denise Jackson.

She is survived by: her children, Beverly Jean McCarley (Randy Rainwater) of McDonough, William Bryant McCarley, Jr. of Covington and Donna Gay Padgett (Tony) of Jackson; her granddaughters, Amy Janelle McCarley of Houston, TX, Nichole Jean Bartlett (Michael) of Flovilla and Amanda Ryan McCarley of Athens; and her great grandchildren, Mckenzie Nichole Bartlett and Dylan Anthony Bartlett.
